Devoteam Netherlands is counting off and there are still 3 weeks to go before Rodney Kemp and Jean-Claude Chan will be rocketlaunched to the annual Microsoft World Partner Conference in Rocketcity Houston, Texas.
So if you are reading Houston, Texas. What is the first thing that pops up into your mind? For those who love NBA Basketball, they will cheer: Houston Rockets!
Or you might think about : ” Houston, we have a Go!”
None of them is unfortunately the case. Nope, we are going to attend the Microsoft World Partner Conference event!!
For those who does not know what WPC is? Well, this is the annual Microsoft strategic event of the year and for Microsoft partners it is a must to attend this.
This year, the event will take place from july 7 till Thursday july 11 in Houston, Texas. Over 16.000 partners will be present.
As a Microsoft Partner, Devoteam Netherlands will attend this meeting to gather the latest intel and information on the following topics: Big Data, Cloud, Social Enterprise and Application Lifecycle management. These topics suit best to our services and core business and will certainly help us to develop and optimalize our services as well in the tactical field as in the strategic field. Furthermore, it will certainly help us to help and guide our customers if they are challenged with topics such as big data, cloud, Social Enterprise and ALM.
Steve Ballmer is especially fired-up to talk to partners at WPC this year. He’ll be giving Microsoft’s point of view on the industry, his vision for our opportunities together and a good look at devices and services. This is the chance for Devoteam Netherlands to align with Microsoft’s roadmap for the year.
WPC wouldn’t be WPC without a rousing, fired-up keynote from our Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Turner.
Kevin will deliver his view of the marketing, competitive pressures and our big priorities for the coming year.
I know that his insights into effective strategy will be valuable to our business. WPC is also the chance to hear about developments and insights from key senior leaders of Microsoft:
Tami Reller, CMO and CFO of Windows Satya Nadella,
President of Microsoft’s Server & Tools Kirill Tatarinov,
President of Microsoft Business Solutions.
